Chemistry 331: Physical Chemistry I

Course Description: Concepts of physical chemistry; basic thermodynamics; free energy and entropy; phase equilibria; properties of solutions of electrolytes and non-electrolytes

Prerequisites: Math 172 & Phys 202 (or equivalent) with a grade of C or better

Textbook: Physical Chemistry, R.J Silbey and R.A. Alberty (Wiley, 3rd ed., 2001)
